Celebrating Success

At Rochford Primary we celebrate all our children's successes. Whether it is an achievement in the class room, for their attendance, sport related in and out of school, helping raise money for a charity or through an act of kindness, everyone joins in the celebration.

There has been so truly amazing homework appearing at our school.

World Book Day at Rochford Primary was a fantastic success. How many famous book characters can you spot?

Purple Class Performance

What a wonderful production. Year 4 showed us some of the things they have been learning in their IPC topic this term. They were all fantastic in their class assembly today. Well Done Miss Goessen and Purple Class!

Well Done

Orange Class attended the Palace Theatre on Tues 31st January. They performed a fantastic dance and were wonderfully behaved.

A huge thanks to Mrs. Barfoot (our Sports Specialist) for choreographing the routine and teaching the children alongside Miss Wicks.

Photos from their dress rehearsal and the actual performance!

  Safina's StikBot Animation

Safina in Blue Class made a gymnastics animation for her homework. We think it's fantastic! Well done Safina. Follow the link above to watch it.

In computing, Red Class have been learning about algorithms.

We tried to program our Bee-Bot (mini robots) to follow a sequence of directions that we had inputted.

Athlete visit

Rochford Primary School took part in a sponsored circuit with Serita Soloman (100m hurdler) to raise money for athletes in training and for school sports equipment.

Orange Class visit to The Museum of Childhood

Orange Class went to the Museum of Childhood as part of 'The Magic toy Maker’ unit of study. They had great time exploring the differences between old and new toys.

Blue Class re-enacted the historical story of The Trojan Horse.

Well done Year 6, what a wonderful performance!

Thank you to all the parents who came and enjoyed a fantastic show.

Wakey Wakey children enjoyed playing a great game of Scooter Ball this morning.
