School Day
School Hours
Children can start arriving at school from 8:40 a.m. for an 8:50 a.m. start.
The register will be completed at 9:00 a.m. so that the first lesson can commence promptly.
School will finish at 3:15 p.m. for Reception Class and 3:20 p.m. for the rest of the school.
Lunch begins at 12:20 p.m., lasting for 1 hour. Children return to class at 1:20 p.m. for afternoon lessons.
The total weekly hours of compulsory attendance at RPS is 32 hours and 55 minutes.
Sunshine Nursery
Sunshine Nursery hours are:
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Morning Session)
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Paid Lunch)
12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Afternoon Session)
Please leave buggies/prams in the playground as we cannot allow them into the reception area for Health and Safety reasons.
Late Collections
If you are running late, please let the office know as soon as possible. We understand that on rare occasions parents will be unavoidably late, so we allow a 10-minute window from the official end of the school day. After such time, your child will be placed in Fun Club and there will be a charge incurred.
